Garmin Fenix 3

Hello everyone!

Today we are Talking about the most anticipated release of the year, considered the best multisport GPS watch market. We're talking about Garmin Fenix 3.

Fenix 3 is a GPS clock that is prepared for all those who practice outdoor sports, with many functions, so that even many of them become useless and never used, so it is undoubtedly the clock better prepared for sport.

However many functions have a downside if we are not going to use: its price. The clock is worth between 450-600 €.

The new Fenix 3 has a lot of technical specifications that do improve over the previous models. Some of these features are:

  • Glass sphere, to choose between mineral and sapphire (stronger).
  • GPS: With EXO new antenna, which improves the speed and sensitivity for signal reception.
  • It is including GLONASS
  • Connections: Bluetooth for wireless connectivity and notifications and ANT + for external sensors.
  • Battery: Up to 50 hours UltraTrac way; up to 20 hours in training mode; up to 6 weeks in watch mode.
  • accelerometer
  • Monitor daily activity and sleep.
  • Multisport: Change of sport with a complete metric button except heart rate in swimming.
  • Barometric altimeter.
  • Electronic compass.
  • Waterproof: 10 atm.

And many more...

Main functions we can highlight the following:

  • Metronome.
  • WIFI connectivity.
  • Function "Auto-Climb".
  • Running mode.
  • Connect IQ: Platform for creation and distribution of PPP (used to connect mobile apliaciones to watch, like time, mail, etc.)
  • Activity sensors.
  • Function "Sight 'N Go".

Our opinion:
We think that this watch is the most prepared multisport when making and monitor any sport in any sport and geological situation. Obviously the price is too expensive, too much for a GPS watch, considering that most of the functions that has not be used, but if you want to have the most complete watch sport this is definitely your best option.

Our rating:
9'5/10

Thanks for your attention, SEE YOU SOON!
