Today we are going to talk about a device for climbers. It is a little device whose name is twonav. With this device we can see topographic map and it is specially designed for climbers who requiring the use of a positioning system for their training and competitions.

In their functions includes the power to consult topographic maps of cartographic institutes , scanned maps, city maps and even satellite images , with no limit to mark the route as you journey through the mountains.

The GPS device has the TrackBack feature, which allows you to return to the starting point safely and includes social features allowing compete on routes previously made .

Designed with ANT + technology allows the device to communicate with heart rate monitors , 3D compass and barometric altimeter among others.

Although the interface is designed for touch use, the user can successfully handle the equipment while using gloves, because the device has four physical buttons thatfacilitate handling. This new device is water resistant to shocks and vibrations, it has bluetooth technology and it has an autonomy of 12 hours, being able to load on the wrist thanks to a hypoallergenic silicone strap securely and comfortable.

Our Analysis

In our opinion it is an excelent device for all climbers because you can see in real time what is your route and where you have to go but the only trouble is his prize because it costs around 300$ but if you often go to the mountain we think that it is a essential purchase.
